According to the Danish "Morgenavisen Jyllands-Posten" reported on July 12, Danish researchers have proposed a new method of HIV vaccine using the immune system response. Related project has been funded by the EU.
Human immune system can not effectively identify and attack HIV is the key beyond control of AIDS. Denmark, Aarhus University Hospital and University researchers have developed a very similar virus with the HIV virus, and this virus can be identified human immune system. Therefore, if inoculated with the virus produced HIV vaccines, the human immune system is activated and play a role in resistance when AIDS viruses invasion.
At present, the researchers have set up a company called SKAU vaccine development matters relating to the operation of AIDS vaccine. The EU has provided financial support for DKK 6.7 million, while the Danish Ministry of Science and Technology Innovation will also provide support for the project.
SKAU vaccine company director Mr. Bahrami said “We hope to develop an effective AIDS vaccine to curb the AIDS epidemic. This new method is based on virus structure and understanding of biological molecules, it will prevent the virus hidden in the human body.”
